Resolutions
This is an amazing topic to think about and start working in. The greatest people throughout history have created a list of resolutions that they continue to study and grow and build upon. The average person doesn't think about life lessons when they hear the word "resolution". They think about the new habits that they want to create on New Year's Day. The resolutions we're going to talk about are a form of a new habit but these are basic principles that will make you a better person, not a diet plan or a new exercise routine. The thing about habits is that they will only be as successful as you make them. Habits create groves in your brain that make it easy to participate in them without consciously thinking about it. If there is a bad habit that you want to change, you need to find a good habit to place in that time when the bad habit seems so easy to do.
What we're going to do on this page is list a few Resolution lists by some great people through history. If you find one that really fits where you are today, I implore you to take hold of it and run with it. I will cheer you on with any choice you make to create a better you!

They take constant attention. It takes 21 continuous days for the habit grooves to begin to form in your brain. It takes a minimum of 16 times repeated for a thought to stick. Make them your own and keep yourself accountable. Build yourself a scoreboard and leave yourself room to adjust to make it really work for you. |
